Overview

Sevatec, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Code Reviewer to conduct hands–on technical secure code reviews across multiple applications and environments.  Ability to work in a team to conduct static and dynamic code analysis utilizing industry leading tools and develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences. Strong ability to communicate findings and strategy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with the development teams to prevent and detect security vulnerabilities within the applications
  • Translate output of security reviews and relay them to development teams for remediation
  • Responsible for secure code review tools operational output
  • Provide recommendations and work with the Scrum teams for continuous improvement  

Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in performing software development, and 3 years of specialized experience performing security code reviews
  • At least 2 years’ experience utilizing HPe Fortify or other static and dynamic code scanning tools to perform security assessments
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience, which must be approved in advance by the Government on a case-by-case basis
  • Have one or more of the following active certifications: EC-Council Certified Secure Programmer, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), SANS Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Secure Software Programmer (.NET or JAVA), HP ATP – Fortify Security V1, or another comparable certification and or experience
  • Have proficiency in analyzing and testing web applications developed in at a minimum of two (2) of the following languages listed below:
  • Java, JavaScript, Ruby, C#

Security Clearance:  Must be a US Citizen and able to attain a clearance.
