Overview

Sevatec is seeking a Graphic Designer / Proposal Coordinator to support business development efforts and coordinate technical proposals in response to government solicitations. Qualified candidates should possess previous experience developing commercial or government proposal graphics.  The ability to work both as a team member and independently when necessary in order to meet deadline driven schedules in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Create proposal graphics and presentations for proposal inclusion and customer presentations
  • Provide formatting of highly complex documents using MS Word/MS PowerPoint/MS Excel/Adobe Acrobat to ensure documents are compliant and adhere to Sevatec’s style guidelines
  • Support the process of analyzing solicitation documents and digesting submission requirements into appropriate response templates with stipulated font sizes, styles, color palettes, spacing, captions, table styles, etc.
  • Assist Proposal Manager(s) in maintaining the proposal development schedule, configuration control, and planning/control of documents
  • Edit and perform general quality control on all proposal content at multiple points in the proposal development process
  • Research, format, and tailor resumes for proposals and data calls
  • Produce the final proposal for delivery, including creating the electronic documents, creating CDs, printing, and binding hardcopies in compliance with government agency requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Graphic Designer role supporting Federal Government proposals
  • Advanced working knowledge and experience with Adobe Illustrator
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills using Microsoft Word for desktop publishing
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion

 

Additional Desirable Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Graphic design certifications/licenses a plus

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphics Design, or similar
