    Are you passionate about finding top talent and filling the toughest of skill sets. Sevatec is looking for a Sr. Technical Recruiter to assists with the recruitment of a superior workforce in the Information Technology Industry within the government contracting space.  The IT Recruiter contributes to the accomplishments of the Talent Acquisition Department in hiring the absolute best talent in the industry while simultaneously building a pipeline of top talent throughout our Core Competencies. You will assist in the development of talent acquisition strategies needed to identify active and passive talent across different business units.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Establish positive working relationships with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies per their business needs.
    • Assist hiring managers with the development of job descriptions ensuring consistent practices.
    • Responsible for executing hiring plans and partnering with Hiring Managers/Business Leaders and HR staff to efficiently fill vacancies with internal and external talent, utilizing best practices in full life-cycle recruitment.
    • Creates and manages talent pipelines specific to industry/agency/function to acquire the best talent.
    • Maximizes relationships with retained and contingent candidates to drive the greatest return on investment.
    • Provide expertise on the employment market, trends and innovative recruiting techniques to ensure competitiveness in hiring.
    • Creatively source through web, referrals, organizations, social networks, career events, etc. to generate qualified candidates.
    • Scheduling and coordinating interviews.
    • Updating and maintaining applicant tracking system.
    • Salary negotiation and Offer Letter Preparation.
    • Assisting with employee on-boarding process and clearance processes as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of recruitment/staffing experience.
    • Must have a minimum of two years of experience recruiting in a government contracting environment.
    • Experience recruiting for niche skill sets in local and national environments is required.
    • Must have experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
    • Must be organized and be able to prioritize, coordinate and balance multiple priorities in order to serve multiple internal customers in a collaborative team environment.
    • Must be able to handle high stress environments and be able to work efficiently and rapidly, adjusting to changing business needs.
    • Ability to adjust and respond to changing priorities and provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
    • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
    • Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritizing tasks, and resolving problems.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Spreadsheet generation.
