  • Overview

    Sevatec is looking for a Project Manager to support their DHS Learning Management Systems project in Washington, DC. The Learning Management System (LMS) Project Manager will focus on three key areas, and must be able to be staffed anywhere they are needed to support defined contract tasks. This includes communications planning, product development and execution, establishing and measuring metrics indicators, and reporting on success results.


    Project Management

    • Ensure contracted resources are available with the required technical and interpersonal skillsets required to fully be engaged and provide a depth of technical and cross-functional skills across the scope of the contract
    • Collaborate with the COR to ensure all deliverables and services are provided as required
    • Develop and deliver project status reports in the established formats

    Communications Documentation and Outreach

    • Help secure agency-wide support for the program by direct interaction with the program associates
    • Drafting written communications for Enterprise Content Manager (e.g. email drafts, LMS announcements, newsletter input, forms, presentations, and assessments, etc.) as required.
    • Provide Quality Assurance support for all communications and documentation
    • Collaborate with Technical Lead on all outreach activities, including information awareness for LMS administrators, management, and internal teambuilding
    • Provide meeting support (e.g. written minutes, Adobe Connect technical support)
    • Collaborate with the Technical Lead to create reports on LMS (e.g. survey results, metrics, key findings, recommendations, next steps, course completion, compliance reports etc.) 

    Technical Services

    • Collaborate with the Technical Lead to recognize and adapt to changing standards and business processes and define change opportunities for innovation and standardization of processes
    • Develop documentation on standard operating procedures
    • Provide cross-functional support on all tasks across the scope of the contract
    • Collaborate with the Technical Lead in designing and developing an evaluation plan with metrics to measure the success of LMS enterprise content management
    • Provide online content development consultation and technical support


    • Bachelor's degree in educational technology, instructional technology, MIS, computer science, information technology or comparable technical/educational discipline or equivalent experience
    • 7+ years of experience working with and consulting on learning and performance management systems (Meridian Global 14.x or preferred)
    • Ability to become well-versed in government business units, protocols, and processes, including the latest policy guidelines for contracting, technology management, and human resources workforce engagement
    • Experience working with MS Office applications, database concepts, learning management systems, and IT infrastructure
    • Experienced manager who can recognize and adapt to changing priorities, and also have the ability to mobilize internal resources
    • Experience coordinating and prioritizing multiple, concurrent work streams effectively within a project
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong problem solving, analysis, design and testing skills
    • Hard worker, quick learner and eager to leverage new technologies
    • Must be motivated, a self-starter, results-oriented and have a successful track record
    • Must have commitment to teamwork and customer service


    Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining a Government Agency clearance.
