    Sevatec, Inc. is seeking a talented IdM Engineer to support the implementation of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) at a Federal agency. The right candidate will be a talented Engineer with Identity Management experience who possesses a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile practices.

    Responsibilities

     

    The IdM Engineer shall design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver incremental functional releases of the client’s ICAM environment in accordance with the government-approved, contractor-developed, ICAM environment design and release schedule. Additional responsibilities include advising and assisting the ICAM Government Program Manager, government staff, and other project managers during the delivery of releases and the transition of accepted releases into the operational ICAM environment.

    Other tasks include:

    • Analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, and testing ICAM hardware and software components and configurations to create releases of the ICAM environment
    • Developing custom software required by the ICAM environment design
    • Developing automated testing scripts
    • Configuring and integrating GFE commercial, open-source, and contractor-developed custom software and hardware components required to support the ICAM environment
    • Configuring and integrating GFE commercial, open-source, and contractor-developed custom software required to populate the ICAM environment with new and migrated identity data

    The IdM Engineer shall provide support to projects that will implement PIV-based Single Sign-On (SSO) for authenticating user identities and controlling access to nearly all electronic services in the enterprise inventory, including desktop computing systems, networks, and applications, as well as managing access across government facilities. Other task include:

    • Deliver capabilities that support wide-spread PIV card usage for authentication to physical and logical access control systems
    • Plan and execute projects that will enable and facilitate transition from existing “soft” PKI certificates used for digital signatures and encryption to PIV-based smart card PKI certificates for usage with digital signatures, encryption and authentication
    • Assist and advise federal employees and other contractors to implement processes and procedures for maintaining and utilizing PIV Cards and PIV PKI certificates

    Qualifications

    • IT Professional with a MS degree and/or 15 years of experience.
    • Provides software engineering skills with one or more programming languages, writes and executes automated tests for custom software.
    • Understanding of Account Life Cycle, Provisioning/De-provisioning, workflows, Single Sign-on (SSO) authentication and authorization technologies, Web services security (WSTrust, WSS Username Token etc.), Identity Federation (SAML), Role Based Access Controls (RBAC), security compliance, auditing, attestation/re-certification technologies.

    Security Clearance:  Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a government agency Suitability Clearance. DHS clearance preferred.
