    Sevatec, Inc. is seeking a Senior Windows System Engineer to conduct hands–on design, configuration and administration of Windows based systems.  Ability to work in a team as well as individually to troubleshoot problems and ultimately remediating OS security related issues. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to identify areas of improvement and provide relevant recommendations for desired future state. Strong ability to communicate technical concepts multiple audiences. 

    Responsibilities

    • Organizes and directs the configuration, operation, and security of Windows based systems 
    • Conducts capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
    • Increases system administration efficiency and accuracy via the use of configuration management tools and scripts and develops system administrator procedures
    • Manages the daily activities of configuration, operation, and security of Windows systems and performs capacity analysis and planning
    • Maintains servers, creates monitoring reports and logs, and ensures functionality of Windows based systems
    • Secures server infrastructure by identifying and resolving vulnerabilities within stated timeframes
    • Performs multiple tasks concurrently and responds to emergency situations effectively

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience administering large, complex Windows applications and/or as an Active Directory Domain Administrator.
    • Expert knowledge of PowerShell and Group Policy

     

    Security Clearance:  Must be a US Citizen and able to attain a clearance.
