    Sevatec is hiring a Project Manager with a Cyber Security focused IT infrastructure experience for a Department of Commerce NOAA client in Fairmont, West Virginia. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, planning, coordination, execution, monitor, control and completion of projects with quality. The Project Manager applies a structured approach and in-depth working knowledge of Cyber Security concepts, policies, practices, processes and procedures to the most complex range of assignments. The candidate must possess the ability to work independently with general guidance from management. The role requires frequent, regular interaction with various team and team leads as well as with customers. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.





    • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
    • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
    • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
    • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
    • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
    • Manage the MS project Master Schedule and meet for approval weekly with client.
    • Risk and Issue management and resolution.
    • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
    • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess project requirements.
    • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
    • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
    • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
    • Evaluate technology proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements


    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or IT related field and at least 5 years of experience preferably in an administrative capacity.
    • Proven work experience as a Program/Project Manager or similar role
    • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery - preferably in IT infrastructure projects, and/or network/security operating center experience.
    • PMP or equivalent certification.
    • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
    • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project


    Security Clearance:  Applicants selected must be U.S. Citizens and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret candidates preferred.
