  • Overview

    Sevatec is seeking a talented Project Manager with strong Agile development experience to lead an IT systems modernization effort at a medium sized government agency.  The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully leading Agile project management processes with a strong background in software development life cycle. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be a seasoned, mature and organizationally savvy leader with a broad understanding of technology's impact. Energetic and self-motivated, the ideal candidate will be of a value-driven & customer centric mindset.


    • The Contractor shall provide a single on-site Project Task Manager to oversee the development and execution of all the tasks associated with this PWS.
    • The Project Task Manager is accountable for the quality and timely delivery of contractual items under the contract terms and conditions.
    • The Project Task Manager shall serve as the point of contact with the Government. This position shall perform the day-to-day management of contract execution involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations. This position shall delegate responsibilities to subordinates and oversee successful contract/Task Order completion within the scheduled project timelines.
    • The Project Task Manager shall establish and maintain the technical and financial reports demonstrating project progress.
    • This position shall ensure the senior level management within the client organization is aware of overall program status, including all relevant projects and their potential impact on higher level organizational strategic vision.
    • This position will ensure that the Contractor’s staff are effectively resourced, tasking is balanced and managed, and that performance objectives are clearly defined for execution.



    • The Contractor shall have at least ten (10) years’ experience in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. I.e. through presentations, meeting participation, and status reports.
    • The Contractor shall have at least five (5) years’ experience in leading software project teams and monitoring project progress through successful execution.
    • The Contractor shall have at least two (2) years documented experience leading a project using an Agile Development Methodology.
    • The Contractor shall possess a current Project Management Professional  (PMP) certification.
    • The Contractor shall be knowledgeable in project support principles, including project planning, project scheduling and monitoring, requirements analysis, integrated logistics, risk management, quality assurance, system testing and evaluation, and configuration management.

    Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret clearance
