    Sevatec, Inc. is seeking a talented Security Operations Center & Computer Incident Response Team Lead to implementation and operational lead of a Best of Breed merged SOC/CIRT Operations Center. The DHS ESOC has primary responsibility for monitoring and responding to security events and incidents detected at the Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) gateways and Policy Enforcement Point (PEP) security stacks. The DHS ESOC is responsible for coordinating response activities performed by USCIS SOC. The DHS ESOC is also responsible for coordinating and forwarding incident reports to the United States Computer Readiness Emergency Team (US-CERT) and other external entities on behalf of USCIS SOC. The USCIS SOC monitors, detects, analyzes, mitigates, and responds to cyber threats and adversarial activity on the USCIS Enterprise. Analysis is conducted in accordance with the DHS Intrusion Defense Chain (IDC) methodology.


    • The primary responsibility of the Program Manager shall be to act as liaison between the contractor and the Government to address any issues that may arise during the conduct of all services performed under the task order.
    • The individual shall have sufficient organizational, technical and contractual level of authority within the contractor’s organization to ensure:
      1. Full access to corporate personnel required to resolve issues that may arise during the execution of the task order
      2. Commitment of resources that may be necessary for the successful performance of this contract, and
      3. Successful technical and contractual resolution of all issues that pertain to that performance
    • Lead a staff of 30+ employees in the day to day operations of an organization to include financial management, program documentation, project management, deployment, scheduling, and test and evaluation of security detection equipment.
    • Implements existing technology and/or new functionality through the application of Agile methodologies.
    • Confers with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
    • Monitors, evaluates, and coordinates activities of project personnel ensuring project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
    • Provides feedback on project personnel performance.
    • Encourages and facilitates team cooperation and promotes collaboration between team members and across organization to achieve project goals and deliverables.
    • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
    • Works collaboratively with client to assess needs, provides assistance, resolves problems, manage and meet expectations and is committed to providing quality products and services.
    • Prepares project reports for management, client and others to include: preparing, monitoring a project budget, generate status reports and progress against budgets and milestones.
    • Develops and maintains a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel.
    • Recognizes and communicates opportunities to sell "add-on" work to clients.
    • Delivery of Agile application development, software maintenance and enhancements solutions to federal government agencies.


    • BA/BS or minimum of four (4) years of experience in managing Security Operations;
    • Two (2) continuous years of Program Management experience;
    • Active ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and PMI Project Management Professional certifications;
    • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a government contracting environment and managing competing priorities.
    • Experience applying and promoting innovative and leading-edge programs and activities that cost-effectively manage risk and enhance the security of mission critical applications.
    • Experience developing strategic plans to help execute customer mission requirements. 
    • Experience developing and delivering senior level briefs/presentations to customers.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


     Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Government Agency clearance.
