  • Overview

    We are seeking a candidate that will provide project administration support and perform tasks within the internal Program Management Office (PMO) for a large Program Management services government contract.  This position ensures the successful accomplishment of program office operations including meeting support and documentation management for assigned programs and/or functional areas.  Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related area with at least five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area.   Position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to details, the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals; proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Work location is Arlington, VA


    • Responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with the Program, government, and corporate, as well as consultants, to coordinate various meetings
    • Plan and coordinate DoD project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks
    • Assist in statistical analyses and studies and developing and tracking metrics
    • Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications on behalf of the project team
    • Provide assistance with preparation of presentation materials for meetings
    • Take meeting minutes and action items during meetings and perform follow-up
    • Make recommendations for implementation of new or improved business practices across the organization, and coordinate efforts to integrate new procedures and processes
    • Coordinate with the government to consolidate efforts across the organizations to save time and effort
    • Maintain program/ project files in an organized fashion, with work products available to the appropriate organizations in accordance with existing policy and guidance
    • Coordinate and make arrangements for conferences, meetings, and events
    • Perform special projects and duties, as requested by manager
    • Ensure adequate assets are available to assist with off-site meeting support to include deployment activities, industry engagement meetings, design reviews, test reviews, market research activities, etc.



    • Requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience
    • Must be highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing work load, prioritizing and working multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be proficient in MS Office
    • Must have exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
    • Must be flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
    • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
    • Must have the ability to work independently
    • Must have solid problem-solving skills and the ability to follow-up on matters without being prompted to do so by management
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
    • Must exhibit excellent customer service skills to internal and external customers

    Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Government Agency background check
