  • Overview

    Sevatec, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Agile Coach with extensive coaching experience with Federal Government Agile projects. The successful candidate will be closely working with the customer, Agile teams and other contractors and expected to understand the Agile organizations, development methodologies, and tools.

    Responsibilities

    • Mentor the business and technical executives, customer leads, program leads, development leads and other contractors on agile best practices, scaling options, and modern organizational practices.
    • Demonstrate full understanding of Agile methodologies and provide necessary Agile coaching, customer training, and mentoring of Agile methodologies that fit into the delivery environment.
    • Define and facilitate Agile team organization, portfolio creation, scaling structures, and other cross team collaboration processes.
    • Assist Program Manager, Agile teams, Scrum masters and Product owner in establishing teams and governance structures.
    • Assist in preparing the overall roadmap, provide guidance on agile adoption strategies, and organizational change initiatives.
    • Review project risks and address them promptly. Assist project manager and team leads to lean processes and introduce lean thinking to eliminate waste in processes to reduce cycle time across the organization.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of Agile experience with 7+ years of experience as Organization Designer (OD) or Enterprise Agile Coach.
    • Required Certification(s): OD or Agile Coaching
    • Experience supporting at least 5 or more Scrum Teams
    • Experience supporting scrum teams and managment in an environment with 3+ development teams
    • Experience with modern organizational, management, and development theory and practices.
    • Experience in briefing, influencing, and coaching senior leadership.
    • Experience in lean processes and design thinking.
    • Proven ability to facilitate root cause analysis, problem identification and resolution.
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • Flexible and adaptable to work in ambiguous situations.
    • Active team player and works collaboratively with and through others.

     

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Experience with Agile/DevSecOps tools are very desirable.
    • Experience working in the federal environment
    • Experience facilitating a federal agency transformation to Agile

    Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Government Agency Suitability clearance.
