    Sevatec, Inc. is looking for a talented senior SharePoint Developer/Architect to add to their dynamic team supporting a highly visible federal contract. Selected candidates must have experience translating concepts and specifications into usable and efficient client/customer facing applications using SharePoint 2010. They should also possess a keen eye for design, detail and presentation. The senior SharePoint Developer/Architect is responsible to ensure continuity of the environment and to assist in building NCUA’s strategic vision for the future.  The technical lead will be responsible for defining, documenting and validating an appropriate technical architecture and to administer the environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage external and internal SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 sites and sub sites, gather user requirements, analyze business processes, and develop, deploy, and test applications to achieve goals and objectives
    • Implement custom solutions for SharePoint, including workflows, Web parts, event receivers, Web services, application pages, master pages, and list definitions for SharePoint Designer
    • Maintain and deliver documentation for applications functionality in SharePoint, as needed, work with functional areas to define and scope SharePoint projects and document requirements, and assign and manage the permissions to content within sites, including granting access and maintaining storage allocation
    • Educate the use of SharePoint across the organization as an alternate platform for collaboration and as a document repository, transfer knowledge to key business contacts
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish governance around SharePoint usage and deployment, and work within specific change management procedures
    • Assist other team members and system owners with the implementation of new SharePoint applications and provide day-to-day operations support and configuration management
    • Differentiate functional issues from technical issues; support, operate, maintain, manage, configure, and troubleshoot applications, serve as the POC for resolving technical issues, and provide guidance in pursuing innovative solutions
    • Provide troubleshooting support for SharePoint, resolve production problems, and provide production and technical support

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent.
    • 5 years’ experience in professional software and SharePoint development.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint development in AWS strongly desired.
    • Possesses strong knowledge of software architecture and development principles.
    • Experience using Agile SCRUM methodology.
    • Experience using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
    • Knowledge of SQL Server or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of TFS, Git, or other version control system.
    • Leading and/or contributing on team of skilled developers to create new products or new versions of an existing product.
    • Developing effective software architecture, enforcing good software development principles, and providing technical oversight.
    • Aid in reviewing functional and non-functional design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
    • Designing and developing new features and functions of an application. Hold code reviews and spend time mentoring other developers.
    • Experience with Team Foundation Server
    • Microsoft Visual Studio 2012/2013/2015/2017
    • Development and customization with SharePoint 2010/2013/2016Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SharePoint Designer, and Microsoft Office.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Relevant professional certification(s)
    • Professional experience that includes data analysis and process improvement, strategic planning, IT systems design and architecture, knowledge management, and training development and/or facilitation.
     

    Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Government Agency Clearance.
