    Sevatec is hiring a Cognos Architect to support our Government Client in an important initiative. USA Staffing is the Federal government’s Talent Acquisition System operated by OPM. USA Staffing offers a single, integrated software solution supporting more than 70 agencies in acquiring, assessing, certifying, selecting, and onboarding qualified candidates in alignment with Merit System Principles.  It serves as the primary interface for over 114,000 hiring managers and more than 8,000 human resource (HR) professionals interacting with the hiring process.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop models in Cognos to appropriately display Time to Hire and workload management data to users
    • Optimize the performance of existing Cognos models
    • Develop detailed reports with appropriate drill-thrus and visualizations
    • Develop interactive dashboards, utilizing the Dashboard and Story features, to engage users in data exploration.
    • Advise on any architectural challenges/issues
    • Review functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provide feedback.
    • Advises team members of implication of approaches during solution development.
    • Will serve as facilitator for Integrated Product Team meetings.

    Qualifications

    • Masters Degree and at least (12) years of experience.
    • Two (2) years of experience in lieu of Master’s degree and four (4) years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1
    • Understanding of logical and physical database models
    • Strong analysis and design skills required

    Security Clearance: US Citizenship is required along with the ability to obtain an Agency Suitability Clearance.
