    Are you passionate about finding top talent and filling the toughest of skill sets. Sevatec is looking for a Sr. Technical Recruiter to assists with the recruitment of a superior workforce in the Information Technology Industry within the government contracting space. The Sr. Recruiter contributes to the accomplishments of the Talent Acquisition Department in hiring the absolute best talent in the industry while simultaneously building a pipeline of top talent throughout our Core Competencies. You will assist in the development of talent acquisition strategies needed to identify active and passive talent across different business units.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager and Hiring Managers as well as other key stakeholders to understand talent demand.
    • Implement innovative and creative sourcing methods that result in a strong pipeline of highly qualified candidates for open requisitions and pipeline requisitions.
    • Meet or exceed hiring goals, time to fill, cost per hire and other relevant metrics
    • Creates and manages talent pipelines specific to industry/agency/function to acquire the best talent.
    • Maximizes relationships with retained and contingent candidates to drive the greatest return on investment.
    • Provide expertise on the employment market, trends and innovative recruiting techniques to ensure competitiveness in hiring.
    • Creatively source through web, referrals, organizations, social networks, career events, etc. to generate qualified candidates.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of an Applicant Tracking System to manage candidates and track data, preferably iCIMS.
    • Responsible for Salary negotiation and Offer Letter Preparation.
    • Ensure compliance with the Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations and company Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Diversity Policies.
    • Effectively communicate candidate status as well as identify, resolve and/or escalate risks and issues to management and stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of recruitment/staffing experience.
    • Must have extensive experience with IT recruiting in a government contracting environment.
    • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success engaging as a strategic business partner with Hiring Managers, Human Resources, and Business Development staff to assess talent acquisition needs and fill job openings in a timely manner.
    • Experience recruiting for niche technical skill sets in local and national environments is required.
    • Must be organized and be able to prioritize, coordinate and balance multiple priorities in order to serve multiple internal customers in a collaborative team environment.
    • Must be able to handle high stress environments and be able to work efficiently and rapidly, adjusting to changing business needs.
    • Ability to adjust and respond to changing priorities and provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
    • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
    • Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritizing tasks, and resolving problems.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Spreadsheet generation.

     

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Experience recruiting for proposal efforts and program transition
    • Experience recruiting for incumbent capture – pre and post project award.
