  • Overview

    Sevatec, Inc. is looking for a talented senior-level .NET Developer to add to their dynamic team supporting a highly visible federal contract. This position will support the Technical Lead with tasking and overall architecture. The successful candidate will have experience working on an Agile team (Scrum/Kanban) in the design, development, enhancement, debugging, and implementation of software applications using .NET, MS SQL, and Web Services.


    • Provides technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
    • Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
    • Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
    • Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
    • Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
    • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software applications.
    • Troubleshoots production problems related to existing software applications.
    • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
    • Ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
    • Researches, designs, develops, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of software products based on client requirements.
    • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
    • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
    • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future application projects to management.
    • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
    • Resolves problems and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
    • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics wherever applicable.
    • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
    • Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.



    • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 7-10 years of related experience.
    • 7+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software applications.
    • 7+ years of experience with software development in a Microsoft .NET framework, MS SQL Server, SOA, RESTful, PHP, HTML, XHTML, ASP.NET including VB.NET and C#, SQL, C, C++, Visual Basic 6, Assembly Language.
    • Experience developing web services in a continuous integration and release management framework.
    • 7+ years of experience using XML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Objective C, Selenium, Eclipse, Java, JRE, JDK, Notepad++,,,, PowerShell, Web Services, Proxies, Asynchronous Communication, Client/Server, WINS, SharePoint SDK, Exchange SDK, MVC, Singleton
    • Experience with Foundation, Maven, JQuery.
    • Experience with JIRA, Rally or other Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience).

    Desired Skills/Experience:

    • Familiarity with Q-Flow Software (a Qnomy Product)
    • Familiarity with United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS)
    • Experience creating networks using Windows Networking, Novell Netware, Linux/Unix Networking, and Samba (cross platform networking)
    • Experience with WAN, SAN, NAT, FIREWALL, Webserver, and Database server
    • Experience with Core Networking, routing, VoIP, Cisco IOS, DSL

    Security Clearance:

    • U.S. Citizenship.
    • Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust
