    Sevatec, Inc. is looking for a talented Program Manager to join our growing Operations team. This position is responsible for providing program management on multiple projects in a large portfolio focused on learning & development/human capital. The successful candidate will have a self-starter nature with strong people and project management skills, as well as a strong sense of ownership of the projects within his/her portfolio.


    • Manage a large number of small projects, serving as a mentor, corporate monitor and escalation point for each contract’s customer, Project Manager and team.
    • Manage subcontractors and vendors on projects, including working with Contracts to define scope and subsequently negotiate terms and agreements; monitor progress, maintain relationship and potentially identify follow-on future opportunities.
    • Perform as the point of contact responsible for collaboratively leading the staff in delivery of the day-to-day contract, deliverables and reports, ensuring the scope occurs within technical, financial, schedule and quality requirements.
    • Develop and manage project Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBSs) during the project lifecycle.
    • Recognize and communicate opportunities to sell "add-on" work to existing customers.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through interactions with client key personnel.
    • Work collaboratively with clients to assess needs, provide assistance, resolve problems, and manage and meet expectations.
    • Work closely with project managers, teams and subcontractors to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority for all projects within the portfolio, in order to ensure on schedule and on budget project delivery.
    • Play an integral role in the proposal creation and execution process.
    • Continually monitor, evaluate and report on project performance.
    • Manage internal and external project deliverables, including, but not limited to Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports, Project Management Plans, Configuration Management Plans, Communication Plans and more.
    • Play a key role in gathering, interpreting and defining contract requirements, client expectations and subsequent deliverables.
    • Coordinate with internal finance personnel and accounting systems to meet organizational and project financial and strategic goals.
    • Identify business metrics to baseline program performance and identify improvement results.


    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10+ years of related experience
    • Experience in managing projects involving training, human capital, online learning, LMS, LCMS, CMS, software development, competency management and/or content development highly preferred.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified with prior experience supervising project teams of more than 10 individuals required.
    • Proven ability to help execute government contracting mission requirements and work with multiple stakeholders to cost-effectively manage competing priorities/risk in the delivery of mission critical IT services.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong sense of personal accountability.
    • Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously and successfully multi-task while still ensuring attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical/critical thinking, consultative problem solving, interpersonal communication, flexibility, and negotiation skills.
    • Ingrained commitment to providing quality services and products.
    • Federal contracting and DOD experience required.
    • Knowledge of FedRAMP, ATO, and the implications of C&A a plus
    • S. Citizenship.
    • Ability to obtain a DHS suitability and pass an OPM BI process.

    Security Clearance:  Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and able to obtain a Government Agency Public Trust.
