    Sevatec, Inc. is looking for a multi-talented QA Specialist to add to their dynamic team supporting a highly visible federal contract. Selected candidates must have experience planning, analyzing and creating testing policies and procedures to assure quality in the delivery of Sevatec products and services to our government customer. The candidate will be responsible for the development of test plans, procedures, and documentation to support various stages of testing.


    • Analyze requirements to determine the appropriate testing methods and processes. Ensure requirements validation by supporting all levels of testing, including: functional, smoke, system, exploratory, security, regression testing, and end-to-end, automation, load, stress and performance testing
    • Utilize Visual Studio testing tool suite for test case creation, execution, reporting, and defect logging.
    • Ensure that all information systems, products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
    • Support software testing to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Documents and works to resolve all problems.
    • Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
    • Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
    • Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
    • Conduct test case reviews to ensure test cases accurately capture functionality identified in requirements
    • Assist the development team in debugging and reproducing reported issues.
    • Develop test strategies, test plan and test scripts.
    • Work directly with members (Requirement Analysts, Developers, and Project Manager) of the team to deliver a quality product to the customer.
    • Provide customer support to the external User Acceptance test teams.
    • Create manual and automated scripts for regression testing and in sprint automation, as needed.
    • Resolve complex issues, conducts research, and recommends solutions.
    • Provide timely updates on tasks and meet internal and client deadlines with high quality deliverables.
    • Develop test scenarios and scripts as an integral component of the software quality assurance process
    • Asses the completeness, traceability, and consistency of all interface requirements
    • Test Web applications


    • 4 - 6 years of experience gathering requirements and/or testing in support of software applications and bachelor's degree required.
    • Must have four (4) years of experience in manual and automated testing, be able to build automation scripts using Selenium or equivalent tools to support automation.
    • Must have four (4) years of experience using automation tools.
    • Must have an understanding of the testing and development life cycle methodologies.
    • Must have experience writing test plan and test cases.
    • Must have experience managing defects in the test and defect management tools.
    • Must have extensive knowledge of SQL or Toad.
    • Experience in testing web based applications.
    • Experience in performing automation testing using Selenium.
    • Experience using scripting and programming languages
    • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).

    Security Clearance:  Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and able to obtain a Government Agency Clearance.
